A system that streamlines information about a client’s progress as they proceed through the aging journey within Tabitha’s continuum of services.
To automate communication and help Tabitha keep families and Elders connected, despite distance or time constraints.
Lincoln is also a community defined by a diverse industry base. And – like many communities, those groups aren’t always sitting in the same room discussing the challenges they have and potential solutions.
Allowing developers to begin by focusing on a problem a major Lincoln industry has, provide a solution, and win a test bed period to further refine the product. Our hope as organizers is that this interaction could lead to a new business or new product developed, based right here in Lincoln.
We have gathered a long list of problems experienced by local health care providers. We intend to create an ongoing series of opportunities like this. However it will take participation to make it a reality.

In addition to winning $1,000 award (provided by Invest Nebraska), the winning team will have the opportunity to implement the product in a health care facility.
The goal is to provide a real feedback about the product, how it can be improved and (hopefully) demonstrate so much value to healthcare providers that they would like to purchase it.
A team must demonstrate the product will have a reasonable expectation to address the challenge, and not cause disruption to ongoing operations. There will be no cost charged to or by the development team or the health care facility for the test bed period (in other words, it’s free for both parties). After that the use of the product will be contingent on free and independent negotiation between the client and business.
All participants must be Nebraska residents. Non-Lincoln area individuals may participate, however a substantial connection to a Lincoln business or team is required. For questions, please contact Rhnissa Decker at rdecker@SelectLincoln.org or 402.436.2374
None of the organizing sponsors and organizations will take an equity stake in the company as a result of this competition. It is not a requirement that the winning team offer any equity stake in the business.
The business is free to seek investment from any non-sponsor group during the competition. Following the competition the business and sponsor organization may choose to enter into an investment relationship of some kind.
In other words – this is not an investment competition. The ownership of the company will remain with founders and owners during the competition. Any investment decisions take place outside the context of the competition and are the sole responsibility of the business and investors.
